Kenneth Estabrooks was a former Saint John police officer. Estabrooks worked for SJP for 22 years, until 1975 when he was transferred to the Saint John City Work’s department, where he worked until 1999.
In 1975 Saint John police received complaints that Estabrooks was sexually abusing children. Police failed to charge Estabrooks and failed to investigate how many victims Estabrooks had abused. Estabrooks continued to work for the city for another 23 years.
In 1999 Estabrooks was convicted of sexually abusing several children.
John McKiggan has been retained to pursue a class action on behalf of everyone that Estabrooks sexuall abused while he was employed with Saint John police and Saint John City Works Department.
