Charles Picot was ordained in the Diocese of Bathurst, New Brunswick in 1974.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
From 1974 to 1980 Picot was employed in parishes in Dalhousie, New Brunswick.
In 1980 Charles Picot was transferred to Bathurst, New Brunswick where be became the priest in charge of Notre-dame du Mont-Carmel Parish.
From 1991 to 1993 Picot was the parish priest with Good Sheppard Mission in Robinsville, New Brunswick and St. Thomas Aquinas in Campbellton New Brunswick.
Criminal Convictions for Sexual Abuse
In 1993 Picot was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault and one count of indecent assault. He was sentenced to seven months in jail.
